I am a friend of someone that is in need of help. I work with her at Kroger, and she told me that she is in need of a furnace. They have no heat. Her husband is laid off work.. and no hope for a job right away. They still have one child in school that lives at home. I believe she is 13 years old. They have a space heater for her room but the rest of the house has no heat. I am worried for her and with the cold temperature the pipes will freeze. She is also waiting for heart surgery as soon as her insurance is in place the first of the year. She lost both her parents in the past year and really is trying to keep afloat by working at Kroger and paying bills with a bad heart. Please if there is anything you know of that can help this family forward it to me. They are a very giving family that heads fund raisers for different types of needs for the community, and they put their needs last. This family is the type of people that would do without and be happy about it because they think of how good they have it compared to others that don't have as much as they do. But I want to help by finding help for them.
